Culture of Indonesia - Articles Culture

Indonesian culture is a culture that can interpret as cultural unity of the whole region in Indonesia. For Love to Grow a sense of Indonesian culture, it needs to be familiar with Indonesian culture instituted back because right now Indonesia is undergoing a shift from the cultural values of local culture that is indigenous to Indonesia to start a love of foreign culture.


With the rapid advancement of technology in which information can enter whatever we participate in community life also affect tergesernya Indonesian cultural values this. Especially the young generation of this nation. Many we see around us how young most prefer driving Indonesia toward foreign culture itself rather than the Indonesian culture. In worrying about the Indonesian culture only as a supplement in certain events, such as when to commemorate Indonesia's independence. It is undeniable that the Indonesian culture also formed because of the influence of foreign cultures, but that was before the time when the royal era.

Indonesian culture although varied, but basically formed and influenced by other great cultures such as Tiong hoa culture, Indian culture and Arab culture. The arrival of European explorers since the 16th century to the archipelago, and the subsequent ongoing occupation, bring various forms of Western culture and forms of modern Indonesian culture as can be found now. Technological, organizational and political systems, social systems, various cultural elements such as the economy, and so on, many adopted the Western culture which is gradually integrated into society.
